16th March - Family Street Festival

Main Street, Coatbridge

11:00 am - 4:30 pm   

Enjoy the atmosphere of Coatbridge town centre as it is transformed for a day into a colourful world of music and dance as we welcome families into the town centre to the highlight of our 2019 Festival.

 

Join master of ceremonies, Patrick Rolink, to be entertained with music and dance from 11am. 

 

The official opening ceremony will take place around noon. Festival chair, Tom Nolan, will be joined on stage by Ireland’s Consul General to Scotland, Mark Hanniffy, an Irish Government minister and locally elected representatives.

 

Opening this year’s Festival will be Coatbridge actor Frank Gallagher, - ‘Lennie Murdoch’ on BBC1 Scotland’s River City - assisted by Celtic FC Foundation Ambassador, Jay Beatty.

 

There will be fantastic music and dance all through the day on the stage on Main Street:
